While adherents to multiply reggaetón, and rockers and classical music lovers swear never join the fashion, there are many people who listen to all styles of music and are not willing to enter into this old fight. But now, a separate study comes to water, and more than one will want to choose a side.According to research conducted by the Psychology Unit of the University Bamako, Mali, reggaetón adept people are on average 20% less intelligent than lovers most respected genres, such as classical or rock.FiguresFor the study, experts from the West African country surveyed 5000 people.
Participants were tested to know their IQ, and a round of questions to find their musical tastes. All this, followed by a personal interview.In analyzing the results, I love rock and classical music proved far more receptive to their environment. Also showed a significantly higher capacity critical to reggaeton, who are much simpler.The study is not conclusive, since they must take into account much more items (economic and cultural reality, etc.) However shows something that is often assumed to be true in our society. Yes, we must keep in mind that reggaeton is the preferred genre of young Chileans (see pictures).
